Bridging Minds Art Exhibition
Oxford Laboratory for Neuroimmunology and Immunopsychiatry at the University of Oxford is hosting a 3-day exhibition ‘Bridging Minds: A Collaborative Arts Exhibition Exploring Psychosis’.
The exhibition will be comprised of artwork submitted by a) patients who have suffered from the effects of psychosis, and b) scientists contributing to psychosis research in Oxford. The exhibition will conclude with an evening of live performances and interviews with both patients and world-renowned psychosis researchers to i) provide a platform for patients to discuss their lived experiences of psychosis, b) challenge stigma associated with the disease, and iii) provide updates on advancements in the field.
The "Bridging Minds" project aims to support a meaningful dialogue between patients with psychosis, researchers, and the public, through a collaborative arts exhibition. The three-day exhibition - hosted by St John's College of Oxford University in June 2025 - will showcase visual artworks created by patients and researchers. It will conclude with a series of short talks by patients and researchers in the field to inform and educate the public on psychosis and schizophrenia. We are collaborating to support this event and are calling for artists with experience of psychosis and schizophrenia.
