WHAT OUR VOLUNTEERS SAY
"I’ve had a great experience volunteering with ARTSMH x Outward. We guided a group of adults with disabilities through an art programme designed to improve their digital and mental health literacy. I loved having the opportunity to build connections with the participants, and have felt an improvement in my confidence after leading these art sessions with my fellow volunteers and delivering a presentation about cybersecurity, which was out of my comfort zone. Overall, I would definitely recommend volunteering for ARTSMH - it’s a great opportunity to develop your communication skills, increase your confidence and meet lots of like-minded people." - Emily
PARTNER'S FEEDBACK
"The volunteers were extremely helpful and engaged very well with the people we support, adapting their sessions to cater for the needs of the people attending. The sessions were meaningful and the people we support seem to have enjoyed their time with the volunteers." - Outward
Painting Workshops - Self-Expression
Digital Art & Cyber Safety Education
Prior to holding our digital art workshops, we conducted a cyber safety talk aimed at boosting participants' understanding and awareness of staying safe while using the internet and digital technology. Digital art mediums utilised include Wacom tablets, iPad, Sketchbook, etc. Our volunteers assisted participants to explore these tools to create remarkable artwork to express themselves freely.
